A few years ago, I was overwhelmed, overstimulated, and exhausted from constantly being “on.”
Then came Two kids under two, a house that never stayed clean, a mind that never turned off, and a nervous system that was permanently stuck in fight-or-flight.
I tried all the things…
morning routines I couldn’t keep up with, Pinterest-perfect habits, wellness rabbit holes, mental load hacks, but nothing stuck. Everything felt like more work.
Slow living changed everything for me.
Not by making my life quieter (that’s impossible with toddlers.)
But by making me calmer, softer, and more grounded.
And once my nervous system shifted…
my patience grew, my presence deepened, and motherhood finally felt enjoyable again.
